Managing Alerts from Shopify Fraud Prevention

Shopify has a built in tool to assist with flagging and preventing Fraud attempts on a retailers store. You can read more in their help documentation here.

This is what an order marked with Fraud Risk shows as in Shopify:

To compliment that functionality we have implemented an order hold option that will prevent orders identified by Shopify as potentially fraudulent. You can configure this hold by navigating to the Integration Settings of the Carro dashboard. Configuration has the following options:

• Off (do not hold orders regardless of fraud status)

• Medium and above

• High

Once an order is held for fraud it will notify your team members subscribed to TradOps Issues and display as shown below on the order page:

You'll have the option to release the order, in which case it will get synced to your suppliers platform for fulfillment. Otherwise you can cancel the order completely.
