The 4Ps of Seller Onboarding
Platform. Products. Pricing. Partners.
Sellers in Convictional's Seller Network need to complete four major steps before they start trading on the platform. These steps are described as the "4P's" of onboarding.
Completing each of these four steps will ensure your products and pricing are configured as you need them, and that this information syncs over to your first trading partner.
Before you proceed with the 4 P's, please ensure you have created an account.
Platform
During the sign up process you will be asked what type of platform you are using so we can establish and integration with Convictional. You can review our supported connection methods here.
If you are using a modern ecommerce platform such as Shopify, we recommend following our step by step setup guide.
Products
Product sync is conditional on setting up your platform. Sellers using modern ecommerce platforms will see their products automatically sync over to the Products tab. Sellers connecting via SFTP or API will also see their products once the correct connection is enabled.
If you have chosen to manage products using a CSV file on our web app please review our guidelines on how to import products.
Pricing
Next, you will need to upload a price list for your catalogue. You can find the guide for creating price lists here.
Partners
If you were not invited by a partner you'll need to establish a partnership before they are able to list your products on their storefront. See our Partner guide here for assistance with inviting partners. You will need to assign a price list to the partnership in order for them to select your products.
